Azua. – The new access road and bridge to Playa Tortuguero are now in operation, facilitating the mobility of residents and visitors to one of the main tourist attractions in the province of Azua.
The project was promoted by the Government of President Luis Abinader and executed by the Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC), under the direction of engineer Eduardo Estrella, with the aim of guaranteeing safer, faster, and more efficient traffic in the area.
With the commissioning of this infrastructure, authorities project a significant boost for the tourism and economic development of the province, by improving access to Playa Tortuguero, recognized for its historical, cultural, and natural value.

The supervision of the works was in charge of the Provincial Directorate of the MOPC in Azua, headed by architect Wader Rossó Ramírez.
