Las Galeras, Samaná.– The City Hall of the municipal district of Las Galeras, in coordination with the Rincón Foundation, concluded the first stage of a road signage project with the installation of 60 signs on streets and public roads, as part of the actions aimed at improving urban organization and facilitating the mobility of residents and visitors.
The initiative covered the stretch between the communities of Guazuma and Rincón, including Las Colmenas, Los Tocones, and the center of Las Galeras, allowing for better identification of the district’s streets and sectors.
According to the authorities, the placement of the signage will help facilitate the location of addresses, speed up the response of emergency agencies, and optimize transport and courier services, in addition to improving the experience of those visiting this tourist destination in the Samaná province.
Mayor Ana Reyes highlighted that the project is part of the initiatives promoted by her administration to strengthen urban planning, security, and the quality of life for the inhabitants of Las Galeras.
Likewise, he pointed out that the municipal administration will continue to develop works and programs aimed at the well-being of the community and the strengthening of local management.

For its part, the Rincón Foundation reiterated its commitment to continue supporting development projects through alliances with local authorities, with the aim of generating benefits for the communities of the municipal district.
With the culmination of this first phase, both entities reported that they will continue to work together on new initiatives aimed at strengthening the infrastructure and promoting the sustainable development of Las Galeras.
