Oasis Lúdico enlivens the nights of the Book Fair with attractive programming

Santo Domingo.- As a complement to the activities being carried out at the 2025 International Book Fair (FILSD 2025), artistic presentations of different genres are taking place every night in the Oasis Lúdico, located in the Juan Lockward bar of the National Theater. These performances are free and are part of the cultural program of the FILSD, which takes place until next Sunday, October 5, in the Plaza de la Cultura Juan Pablo Duarte.

This Thursday, the 2nd, radio producer and cultural manager Manuel Betances will present “Vinyl Night at the Fair”, a musical experience on LP with special guests. In this interactive activity, scheduled for 8:00 pm, Betances will share vinyl records from various artists and invite the audience to play their preferred ones.

Programming continues on Friday with Manerra’s proposal of musical fusions, and on Saturday with Freddy Sabina and the singer-songwriters of the Sabinero temple.

Throughout the FILSD 2025, Oasis Lúdico has already featured the participation of the comedian Rafael Bobadilla, with a hilarious “show” of “stand-up comedy”; the composer José Duluc along with Palo Nuevo, with a vibrant display of Dominican folk music; the veteran actress Niurka Mota, with her emblematic monologue “The Relief of a Widow”; and the singer-songwriter Juan Ahumada along with his friends, on a night of trova. The Ministry of Culture invites the public to join these artistic evenings at the Juan Lockward Bar, a meeting space where music, humor, and creativity combine to enrich the experience of the Book Fair and offer the public unforgettable moments.
