PN and MP are looking for “Villano”, “El Lápiz” and “Jimmy” for the murder of two men reported missing in Santiago

Santiago. – The National Police and the Public Ministry intensified this Monday the persecution against an alleged criminal structure identified as responsible for the death of two men who had been reported missing in this city, for which arrest warrants were issued against three implicated individuals who remain fugitives. Judicial orders weigh against Yelson Trinidad García, alias “Villano”; Yaudy Sarita Morel, alias “El Lápiz”; and Jimmy Jules Mecido, who are identified as direct perpetrators of the double homicide, according to preliminary investigations. Authorities reported that, as part of the investigative process, one of those involved has already been arrested, while search and location operations continue for the other defendants in different parts of the region.

According to the official report, the case is under permanent monitoring, with intelligence work, evidence gathering, and technical analysis aimed at fully clarifying the circumstances in which the deaths occurred and establishing the corresponding criminal responsibilities. The National Police reiterated that it is working in coordination with the Public Ministry to ensure that those responsible are brought to justice, in accordance with the law. Authorities urged the fugitives to surrender through legal channels, while warning that investigations are ongoing and will not stop until the arrest of all those involved in the event is achieved.
