San Juan de la Maguana.— Agents of the Western Regional Sub-Directorate of Intelligence (Dintel), in coordination with units of the Preventive Police and under the supervision of the Public Ministry, seized two packages of a white powder, presumably cocaine, along with other evidence during a raid carried out in a house in the municipality of San Juan de la Maguana.
The intervention was carried out in compliance with court order no. 1921/2025, at a residence located on Colón Street, in the center of the municipality. The property belongs to a man identified only as Kelvin, who was not at the scene at the time of the proceedings.
During the registration, the agents occupied a surveillance camera system, two unmarked cell phones and a 16-inch machete, in addition to the two packages of the presumably narcotic substance.
All evidence was sent to the Public Ministry for the corresponding legal purposes, while the authorities continue investigations to locate the owner of the property and establish their possible link to criminal activities.
