Police capture three fugitives and arrest man accused of robbery in La Altagracia

La Altagracia.– The National Police reported this Monday that they captured three people who were wanted by the justice system and arrested a man accused of an alleged robbery, during operations carried out in the municipalities of Higüey and Bávaro.

According to the institution, one of the detainees is Junior Israel Solano, who was allegedly caught while stealing several copper pipes and a condenser filter from an air conditioner on the roof of a hotel located in Higüey. The man was placed under the control of the Public Ministry for the corresponding procedures.

Likewise, police officers arrested César Augusto Mejía, who was wanted by a judicial order issued by the Third Instruction Court of the National District.

During the operational actions, Ignacio Esteban Berroa Rosario was also located, who was wanted by the authorities and had an Interpol red notice. His capture was carried out in Punta Cana through a joint operation between police agents and representatives of the international organization.

Similarly, Pablo Alexis Fernández Alberto was detained, as he appeared to have a pending arrest warrant. The Police explained that, after carrying out the corresponding verifications, it was confirmed that the judicial process had already been exhausted and that the citizen had previously regained his freedom, so he was handed over to a family member.
