Santo Domingo.– The President of the Republic, Luis Abinader, made a supervisory tour this Friday of the Gran Feria Agropecuaria organized by the Institute for Price Stabilization (Inespre) in the Ciudad Ganadera, where he verified firsthand the development of the sales days and the social scope of this initiative aimed at facilitating the population’s access to food at affordable prices. During his visit, the president walked through the different pavilions and sales stands, spoke with producers, merchants and citizens who came from early hours, and verified the quality and variety of the products offered. Abinader was especially interested in prices, supply, and the flow of people, while receiving technical explanations from Inespre staff about the logistics and organization of the fair. The Head of State positively valued the impact of these fairs, which are part of the “Christmas Breeze” program, a strategy developed during the month of December to alleviate the spending of Dominican families during the Christmas season.
