Miami.– Producers Ocean Vibes (Jack Hernández) and Alfr3d Beats (Dick Alfredo Caballero Rodríguez), who sued Karol G for a song from her album ‘Mañana será bonito’, withdrew the case this week in a court in
Miami and publicly apologized for having filed it.
The plaintiffs detailed that they will jointly issue the public apology in English and Spanish and publish it on YouTube, and on Instagram and Facebook accounts, according to court documents accessed by EFE.
The Song of the Lawsuit Against Karol G
The producers had reported last year that the Colombian artist and her co-authors had copied key elements from their song ‘Gatúbela’ from a previous song of theirs called ‘Punto G’.
However, the plaintiffs indicated that they had agreed to voluntarily withdraw the lawsuit and acknowledged that the evidence showed that Karol’s producer, DJ Maff, had created and recorded the rhythm of ‘Gatúbela’ two weeks before ‘Punto G’ was released.

The song ‘Gatúbela’ is included in the album ‘Mañana será bonito’, with which Karol G has established herself as a commercial and critical success since its release.
