Apec Promotion has trained more than 57 thousand Dominicans with limited economic resources in technical trades, micro-enterprises, and human development. Among the training areas, there are training courses in Pharmacy, Informatics, Accounting, commerce, secretarial work, costume jewelry, cosmetology, graphic arts, crafts, cutting and sewing, pastry and baking, nursing, Office and internet program management, accounting for the Audiovisual area, and training aimed at students in extended shifts of public schools, among others. Created in 1982 as part of the Apec group, Promapec is a non-profit institution whose purpose is to improve the quality of life of vulnerable sectors, through the integration of personal values and access to technical training. Its mission is to promote the integral development of Dominicans, transforming them into a productive force that contributes to the economic and social progress of the country.
