Santo Domingo.- The National District Prosecutor, Rosalba Ramos, assured that the authorities continue working to reduce cases of violence and prevent further femicides from occurring.
In that sense, the magistrate explained that the district currently maintains a single-digit homicide rate, standing at eight points, but stated that efforts continue to improve these indicators.
“We will probably start from January this year. Right now, as far as the District is concerned, although we have a rate of eight points, which implies that it has been reduced to a single digit, in any case we continue working, especially so that femicides do not continue to occur,” Ramos expressed.
