International Desk.- Mediators from Qatar and Pakistan met separately this Wednesday in Doha with delegations from the United States and Iran, as part of indirect technical talks regarding the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between both countries following the conflict that began at the end of February.
n” “nThe spokesperson for the Qatari Foreign Ministry, Majed Al Ansari, stated on X that positive progress was recorded “on issues related to the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding,” based on what was discussed at the Lake Lucerne Summit in Switzerland.
n” “nAlso, he added that the parties agreed to continue the talks, with a next meeting to be set “at the earliest possible moment” after the conclusion of the funerals of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the former supreme leader of Iran.
