Santo Domingo,D.N– Continuing with the execution of its social responsibility program, Raymond Rodríguez and the GBC Foundation carried out a large medical operation in the Gualey neighborhood of the National District, where more than 500 people of different ages were benefited.
In the free health day held this Saturday in the Santa Ana Parish of that neighborhood, beneficiaries received care in family medicine, dentistry, gynecology, cardiology, pediatrics and ophthalmology, among other medical specialties.
Raymond Rodríguez, president of the entity, stated that the medical operation they are carrying out throughout the national territory aims to bring preventive and comprehensive health free of charge to the residents of that emblematic sector of the capital, as part of the extensive social responsibility program of the GBC business group.
“We are pleased to continue serving each family that has gathered here today. For us as the GBC Foundation, bringing preventive health to this sector means a lot, because we are reaching the people who truly need it,” said Rodriguez.
Meanwhile, the councilman of the National District, Junior Castillo, and community leader Israel Montero, thanked Raymond Rodríguez and the GBC Foundation on behalf of the community for the gesture of offering the free medical day, while highlighting its positive social impact for the inhabitants of Gualey and the other surrounding neighborhoods.
The social action in favor of hundreds of families was sponsored by Grupo GBC Farmacias and had the support of Laboratorios Lam, Mamey Pharma, the International Institute of Vision (INVIS) and the dental group Manos que Ayudan a Sonreír.
In the same event, medications were also delivered to attendees, food rations, disinfectant product kits, toys for children, and layettes for pregnant women.
