RD Vial announces the elimination of manual digitizing of the Fast Pass TAG
Santo Domingo. – The general director of the RD Vial Trust, Hostos Rizik Lugo, announced that as of this Tuesday it is no longer necessary to share your Rapid Pass TAG number; because manual entry in the toll system is eliminated.
«New backup RFID readers have been installed, which allow validating the passage if your TAG fails at the time of reading in the exclusive lanes», Lugo informed through his X account.
This allows greater protection for users, avoids fraud and improves fluidity at toll booths. «We continue to modernize the country’s road network», he concluded.
This new system aims to improve citizens’ trust in the use of Tolls and ensure that each operation is controlled directly by the account holder.
