Azua, D.R. – The Regional Directorate of Education 03 Azua successfully concluded the “Learning is Fun” Summer Camp 2026, an initiative developed during the month of July with the purpose of strengthening fundamental learning and promoting the integral development of students during the vacation period.

The closing ceremony was led by the regional director of Education, teacher Jorge Antonio De los Santos, accompanied by the director of the 03-01 Educational District of Azua, Mariano Lebrón. Both highlighted the positive impact of the program as a strategy to reinforce academic competencies and contribute to the personal and emotional development of the participating children.

During the camp, pedagogical, recreational, and formative activities were carried out, aimed especially at students with academic lag, favoring the strengthening of essential skills and providing new opportunities to improve their learning process.

The closing ceremony was held in the auditorium of the San José School, with the attendance of national technician Juleidy Dilone, regional and district technicians, teachers, students, fathers, mothers, and collaborators who made the development of this educational day possible.

The “Learning is Fun” Summer Camp 2026 was coordinated by Fannis Pujols and is part of the initiatives promoted by the Ministry of Education to ensure the continuity of learning and student development beyond the school calendar
