Regional Director Sur Central, Colonel Ana Jiménez Cruceta, Recognized in NY for Women’s History Month

United States.- Within the framework of Women’s History Month, celebrated every March to honor the achievements, contributions, and legacy of women in society, the Dominican Police Association in New York proudly recognized the outstanding career of an exemplary woman who has dedicated her life to service, training, and leadership: Regional Director South Central, Colonel Ana Jiménez Cruceta. Officer @anajinezcruceta holds a degree in Police Sciences, a graduate of the first mixed promotion of the National Police Academy for Cadets, where she stood out as an honors graduate.
In addition, she holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Universidad Católica Nordestana (UCNE) and a Law degree from the Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU). She has a Master’s degree in the area of Research and Criminology from the UDIMA University in Spain, as well as a Specialization in Citizen Security, among other important training that supports her solid academic background.

During her 23 years of uninterrupted service, she has held high-level positions of great responsibility, distinguishing herself as Commander of the Women’s Cadet Corps, Commander of the Polygraph Department, Deputy Director and Director of Strategic Communications, as well as institutional spokesperson. Likewise, she has held positions such as Director of the Judicial Protection Police, Director of the Educational Modernization and Human Development Area, and currently serves as Regional Director South Central of the National Police. Throughout her career, she has been recognized by various national and international institutions, including the Ministry of Youth, with the Medal for Outstanding Dominican Woman, the National Police of Colombia, the International Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA) in San Salvador, and the National Guard of Venezuela. Her trajectory reflects commitment, discipline, and excellence, becoming an inspiring example for new generations and a source of pride for the institution and society.
