Bonao, Dominican Republic. – Residents of the Colorado Blanco community denounced the deplorable conditions of the road that connects this area with the Blanco sector, a situation that, they say, seriously affects mobility and puts the safety of those who travel through the place at risk.
The community members explained that the deterioration of the road has reached worrying levels, hindering the access of vehicles and forcing the residents to face serious complications in emergency situations.
As an example of the precariousness, they recounted that they recently found themselves in the need to bring down the lifeless body of a person along this path in extremely difficult conditions, which further highlighted the urgency of intervening on the road.
Faced with this problem, residents called on the corresponding authorities to grant them the necessary permits to allow them to condition the road on their own, highlighting that they are willing to collaborate in the improvement of the road infrastructure.
“The only thing we ask is that they give us permission to work our streets. We want to improve access for the well-being of all,” they expressed.

The residents reiterated that this route is fundamental for communication between communities and for the development of their daily activities, which is why they consider a quick response urgent to help solve this situation that has affected Colorado Blanco for years.
