The Association of Multiple Banks of the Dominican Republic (ABA) reported that Rosanna Ruiz concluded her tenure as executive president of the entity, after completing an important professional stage characterized by significant advances in the institution’s transformation and positioning.

The ABA explained that, after six years at the head of the organization and completing the professional cycle he had set for himself, Ruiz is beginning a new stage focused on personal and family projects.

Likewise, he highlighted the contributions of the executive, who promoted an agenda aimed at strengthening the role of the association in the discussion of economic and financial issues of national interest, as well as initiatives linked to financial inclusion, education, innovation, and the development of the banking sector.

He/She recognized Rosanna Ruiz’s contribution to the institutional development of the association over the last six years, as well as her commitment to promoting initiatives relevant to the strengthening of the country’s multiple banking sector.

The ABA also reaffirmed that it will continue to promote its strategic agenda and its mission of representing the Dominican banking sector, supported by the principles of institutionality, continuity, and governance that have characterized its trajectory.

In that context, it reported that the Council of Associates will conduct the succession process in accordance with the established institutional mechanisms and will communicate information related to the entity’s new executive leadership in a timely manner.
