Bonao, Monseñor Nouel.– The senator of the Monseñor Nouel province, Héctor Acosta, expressed his pride and satisfaction for the achievement reached by young athletes Wendy Simó and Ignacio Vásquez, who won the silver medal in the rowing and canoeing discipline during the Santo Domingo 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games.
The athletes, representatives of the Monseñor Nouel province, managed to stand out in the competitions held at the Rincón dam, located in Sabana del Puerto, Bonao, holding high the name of the province and demonstrating the talent and preparation of the Dominican youth.
Senator Héctor Acosta congratulated both athletes on this important victory and highlighted the pride he feels for the performance of the athletes from Nouel.
“Our athletes, of whom I feel proud”, expressed Senator Héctor Acosta while celebrating the silver medal won by Wendy Simó and Ignacio Vásquez.
Acosta highlighted that this achievement represents a motivation to continue supporting sports and the young talents of Monseñor Nouel, who, with effort, discipline, and dedication, worthily represent the province and the country in international sports arenas.
