Santo Domingo.-The renowned Dominican singer and songwriter Shadow Blow, who will be in charge of one of the musical numbers of the forty-first edition of the Soberano Awards, scheduled to be held tomorrow Wednesday, spoke with De Último Minuto and expressed the emotion he feels at being part of such an important event for Dominican art and culture.
“Super happy, really excited, but above all happy and prepared for everything that will be Premios Soberano 2026,” expressed the artist, showing his enthusiasm a few hours before going on stage at the Eduardo Brito National Theater.
With hours to go until the celebration of Premios Soberano 2026, the activity continues at the National Theater, the venue for this important award that each year brings together the best of Dominican talent in a night dedicated to recognizing artistic excellence.
Regarding the surprises that his musical number will have, Shadow Blow explained that he cannot yet reveal details, but assured that the audience can expect a memorable performance. “I can’t say yet what will be seen, but I want people to be sure and pay close attention, because what they are going to enjoy will be very pleasing”, he affirmed.
The interpreter also highlighted the hard work behind its staging. “We have been working for about two weeks preparing all this; we are putting a lot of heart, many hours and a lot of love into it, and I know that in the end it will be well received by all those people who will enjoy it inside the theater and also from their homes,” he said.
In conversation from his dressing room prior to rehearsals, the artist revealed that there is a possibility of having special guests on stage, and that his presentation will be a journey through the highlights of his successful discography. Likewise, he assured that being part of this show fills him with pride, reiterating that his greatest satisfaction is being able to make music and connect with the public through his art.
