Singer Edward Cruz seeks to contribute to merengue with “Pa’ no pensarte nunca más”
Santo Domingo.- Dominican singer-songwriter Edward Cruz Pérez reinforces his musical commitment with the release of a new merengue, “Pa’ no pensarte nunca más” (So as not to think of you anymore), a single of his authorship that speaks of a love that has already ended, of which only memories remain of what once was, but where one of the two has not yet managed to overcome it.
“This song was born from a love that, like most, started beautifully and full of illusions, but over time it broke and crumbled, to the point where there was no choice but to end that relationship, despite how much it hurts,” explained the singer during a meeting held at Eme by Marketcito.
“Pa’ no pensarte nunca más” features a music video filmed on the outskirts of the Ciudad Corazón, Santiago, in the middle of nature, reflecting the essence of the song. This seeks to leave as a lesson that every ending brings with it a new beginning, embodied by the protagonist of the audiovisual, the actress María Angélica, empowering herself and leaving the house where so many memories were planted.
