Valverde.- This Monday, the remains of Eunice Isabel Peña, wife of the renowned típico merengue singer Kiko El Presidente, were buried in the New Cemetery of Mao, after a prolonged battle against the cancer she faced for several years.
The funeral ceremony began on Sunday afternoon at the San Judas Tadeo funeral home in Mao, where family, close friends, and followers of the artist gathered to offer their condolences before the transfer of his remains. The mass of the body present took place in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in the Hatico sector of Mao, and was later buried. Eunice Peña, who shared nearly three decades of marriage with Kiko El Presidente, passed away while admitted to a clinic in Santiago de los Caballeros, where she was receiving medical treatment for complications arising from her prolonged battle against cancer.Related News
