Strategic Communication Department strengthens spokespersons, focused on strategic communication, crisis management, and digital environment management, with the aim of optimizing the institutional response in scenarios of high public exposure. The activity was led by the Deputy Director General, General Esteban Figuereo García, representing Major General Andrés Modesto Cruz Cruz, Police Director General, along with Colonel Diego Pesqueira Grullón. The training activity was attended by the commissioner for Police Reform and Transformation, Luis Ernesto García Hernández, who highlighted the importance of effective communication to strengthen transparency, citizen trust, and interaction with society. While pronouncing the central words of the opening act, General Figuereo García valued the role played by communicators who serve as spokespersons in the different regions. During the day, practical tools for the management of communication crises, the responsible handling of information, and the construction of clear, timely, and verifiable institutional messages were addressed, in coherence with the principles of legality and public ethics.
