In the framework of the activity, the Northeast II regional director of Social Development of Supérate, Yiraldy Hernández, led the day and toured different homes in the community, where she visited families with people with disabilities. The official highlighted that these days allow beneficiaries to receive medical attention, guidance on their social rights, and direct support in their own environment, thus strengthening the community work of the program. As part of the social action, raw food rations were delivered to the beneficiaries and cooked rations to dozens of homes, guaranteeing food support to families with higher levels of vulnerability. The day was actively supported by community leaders, neighborhood association representatives, and local authorities, who highlighted the importance of maintaining an institutional presence in the rural communities of the María Trinidad Sánchez province.“Supérate en tu Comunidad is a space for meeting and closeness with people. We not only come to offer services, but also to listen and get to know the realities of each family up close. As our director Gloria Reyes has wanted and President Luis Abinader has instructed, we are here so that no vulnerable person is left out of the State’s accompaniment,” Hernández expressed during his intervention.
