From her side, the Vice Minister of International Cooperation of the Ministry of the Presidency, Olaya Dotel, indicated that the project integrates an inclusive gender approach, aimed at promoting the active participation of women and young people in all components of the program. Meanwhile, the Technical Cooperation coordinator of the Andalusian Agency for International Development Cooperation, Raúl Muñoz, pointed out the commitment of international cooperation to continue promoting initiatives that generate opportunities and promote a more equitable development throughout the territory. The Los Ríos Community Empowerment Center has been conceived to respond to the needs of the community, offering training in areas such as beauty, gastronomy, digital production, and other technical skills oriented towards employment and entrepreneurship. This space has an inclusive approach that will allow the training of mothers and fathers while their children remain in a safe environment, facilitating access to development opportunities. Through these initiatives, Supérate plans to train 7,660 people this year in the Enriquillo region, of which at least 1,840 correspond to the province of Bahoruco. The activity was attended by local and national authorities, including the senator of the province, Guillermo Lama; the deputy Olfanny Méndez; the deputy Juan Bolívar Cuevas; the mayor of Neyba, Yandel Suberví; the mayor of Los Ríos, Martha Cuevas, and the mayor of Villa Jaragua, Iván Medina.
