SUV Flips Over on Bayaguana–Monte Plata Highway, Leaving Several Injured

Bayaguana. – This Sunday, a traffic accident occurred at kilometer one of the road that connects the municipality of Bayaguana with Monte Plata, specifically at the well-known “death curve”, where the driver of a black jeep lost control of the vehicle and ended up overturning on the road. According to preliminary information, the incident occurred in an area considered high-risk due to the frequency of accidents. After the rollover, 4 people were injured. Agents from the National Police arrived at the scene, who proceeded to cordon off the area and regulate traffic, while units from the National Emergency and Security Attention System 9-1-1 and members of the Fire Department provided immediate assistance to those affected.

It was reported that the arrival of more 9-1-1 ambulances was expected for the transfer of the injured to different health centers. Authorities urge drivers to drive with caution on this important road that connects both areas, especially in dangerous sections like this curve.
