Santo Domingo.- The National Council of the Magistracy (CNM), chaired by President Luis Abinader, swore in this Thursday the principal and alternate judges chosen to integrate the Superior Electoral Tribunal, in an act where the institutional commitment to the strengthening of electoral justice and democratic transparency was reaffirmed.
The sworn-in judges were: Ygnacio Pascual Camacho Hidalgo, who will continue as its president, Pedro Pablo Yermenos Forastieri, Fernando Fernández Cruz, Rafaelina Peralta Arias and Lenis Rosángela García.
Likewise, during the event held in the Ambassadors’ Hall of the National Palace, substitute judges were also sworn in: Lourdes Teresa Salazar, Juan Cuevas, Juan Manuel Martín Garrido, Freddy Ángel Castro and Víctor Rafael Menieur.
