Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. – Not even the rain has managed to dampen the enthusiasm of the followers of the legendary American group The Killers, who on Friday night flocked to the Óvalo de la Feria Ganadera to enjoy their long-awaited concert.
Despite the downpours that have affected the Dominican capital in the last few hours, hundreds of fans defied the weather conditions to sing along to the band’s hits, in an atmosphere marked by energy, emotion, and the loyalty of the audience.
Equipped with raincoats, umbrellas and, in many cases, without any kind of protection, the attendees remained firm in their places, determined not to miss the presentation. The show began with a close and charismatic greeting from Brandon Flowers, who surprised the audience by interacting in Dominican Spanish.
From the early hours of the afternoon, entire families, couples, and groups of friends gathered at the venue, demonstrating the wide appeal of the group and the diversity of the audience that follows the American band.
During the performance, The Killers has performed some of their most emblematic songs, including Mr. Brightside, Somebody Told Me and When You Were Young, unleashing the euphoria of those present on a night where music has managed to prevail over the rain.
