Santo Domingo.- A Santo Domingo court granted unconditional release to Deivi Rosado Durán, alias “El Gordo”, who had been arrested in an operation and who was found with an arsenal of high-caliber weapons and assault rifles.
It is recalled that “El Gordo”, after his arrest, was identified by the authorities as a “messenger” of a criminal structure that on November 6th had an armed confrontation with members of a patrol of the Department of Criminal Investigations (Dicrim) in the Los Girasoles sector, National District.
Following this apprehension, which was carried out in an operation on the Autopista Duarte Vieja, near the entrance to Las Villas II, while he was traveling in a red Hyundai Sonata vehicle, license plate AA18185.
To whom it was seized, an M4 Carbine 5.56mm rifle with 27 rounds, a DPMS A-15 rifle with 29 rounds, an Uzi Luger TEC-9 model, Two Glock 9mm pistols, one with a 15-round magazine and the other with a 50-round snail-type magazine, a 9mm pistol without a serial number and an additional 30-round magazine.
