Samsung Electronics announced the launch of the Galaxy Z TriFold, its first smartphone with a triple-fold design, created to redefine the mobile experience with a larger screen, greater power, and advanced features. The Galaxy Z TriFold unfolds twice to reveal a 10.0-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X main screen, the widest on a Galaxy device, designed to offer an immersive experience and facilitate multitasking. The device incorporates the Snapdragon 8 Elite mobile platform, 16 GB of RAM, 512 GB or 1 TB storage options, a 200 MP rear camera, and a three-cell 5,600 mAh battery with 45 W fast charging. For its foldable construction, Samsung developed the Armor FlexHinge mechanism with a dual rail and titanium casing, allowing for a stable fold and a slim profile of approximately 3.9 mm when fully extended.

Samsung also highlights productivity features powered by artificial intelligence through Google Gemini, generative editing tools, optimized multitasking, and compatibility with Samsung DeX without an external monitor. The Galaxy Z TriFold will arrive first in South Korea starting December 12, 2025, and then to markets such as the United States, China, Taiwan, Singapore, and the United Arab Emirates. Buyers will receive six months of Google AI Pro, 2 TB of cloud storage, and a 50% discount on screen repairs.
