Santo Domingo Este.– Agents of the Central Investigation Directorate (Dicrim) arrested three men accused of participating in an assault in the Los Mina sector, where a citizen was wounded by gunfire during the criminal act.
The detainees were identified as Orlando Díaz, alias “El Gallo“; Cristofer de los Santos, known as “El Menor“; and Erick Torres, who are pointed out by the authorities as the alleged individuals responsible for wounding Mr. Raúl García, 54 years old, during the robbery.
According to preliminary investigations, those involved allegedly used a Loncin brand, .380 caliber pistol, which was seized by the agents at the time of executing the arrests.
The investigations establish that the suspects were traveling in a silver, 2008 Toyota Corolla vehicle when they allegedly committed the criminal act.

The authorities also reported that a fourth individual involved, identified only by the nickname “Gatillito 3030,” remains at large, so the search for him continues for the purposes of capture and bringing him to justice.
The arrests were carried out as a result of intelligence and investigative work conducted by members of Dicrim, who managed to collect evidence linked to the case.
Both the detainees and the firearm and other seized evidence were placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry for the corresponding legal procedures.
