Tom Holland publicly confirmed that he married his partner Zendaya and described their relationship in an interview with Esquire UK magazine.

I found my person. She is my best friend, and I am the happiest I have ever been when I am with her, but I have also never felt so supported and secure. Never,” maintained the Marvel star.

The statements were collected during an extensive interview with the 30-year-old actor, in which he addressed the bond he maintains with the 29-year-old actress and singer after months of public speculation about whether the couple had formalized their union.

Holland confirmed the facts briefly and bluntly. When asked if any family member thought they had missed the wedding due to AI-generated images that circulated on the internet, he replied: “No, because everyone was there… That is all you are getting on that.”

The first to reveal the news of the wedding had been Law Roach, Zendaya’s longtime stylist, during an interview at the Actor Awards in Los Angeles in February 2026.

The confirmation of the marriage came after images generated with artificial intelligence circulated regarding an alleged wedding of the couple.

On that occasion, Roach dropped the detail with apparent naturalness: “The wedding already happened. You missed it!”. At that time, the couple did not make any comment about it.

The star of Euphoria had worn her engagement ring from the brand Jessica McCormack for the first time at the 2025 Golden Globe Awards ceremony.

In conversation with Esquire UK, Tom Holland went beyond confirmation and offered his own take on what it means to share his life with someone who navigates the same professional sphere.

“Our business can present very stressful situations and it is really good to have a relationship foundation that stands the test of time,” he/she stated. “We can support each other in ways that only we can, because only we truly understand what it is like to live this life.”

Holland and Zendaya met in 2016 during the filming of Spider-Man: Homecoming and kept their relationship deliberately low-profile for years.

A premiere as husband and wife

The joint appearance of Tom Holland and Zendaya at the presentation of Spider-Man: Brand New Day in Madrid was their first on a red carpet as a married couple.

According to Vogue magazine, the presence of both at the event carried a greater symbolic weight than the usual promotion of two romantic leads posing for the cameras: it was, according to the outlet, a case where “life imitates art”.

Both chose their looks with a certain chromatic coordination. He wore black tailoring by Prada with a spider-red shirt, while she opted for a black minidress by Christopher Cowan paired with red-soled Christian Louboutin shoes.

The magazine highlighted that “method dressing” —a practice that Zendaya and her collaborator Law Roach helped establish in red carpet culture— was present, although with a more subtle touch than on other occasions.

Holland spoke about Spider-Man: Brand New Day in the same interview with Esquire UK: “The movie is already the best Spider-Man movie we have ever made… This movie is a real mystery and for a large part of the film, even Spider-Man is a bit bewildered and lost”.

The British artist also expressed his desire to serve as a mentor for whoever succeeds him in the role.

He mentioned actor Owen Cooper as a possible candidate and noted: “I would love to be that person for whoever is next, in the way that Robert Downey was a mentor to me in my first three movies”.

Beyond the Marvel saga, the couple faces a year of high public exposure: in addition to the press tour for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, both are participating in The Odyssey, the new production by Christopher Nolan, which is scheduled for release in July.
