Florida, USA – A two-year-old child lost his life this Sunday after remaining for several hours inside a parked vehicle in the city of Hallandale Beach, in South Florida, where high temperatures were likely a determining factor in the tragedy.
According to local authorities, the minor was found unconscious in the backseat of the car, which was parked in front of a residence located in the 900 block of Northwest 7th Avenue.
Following the discovery, emergency personnel arrived at the scene and transported the little one to a nearby health center. However, despite medical efforts, his death was confirmed shortly after his admission.
The Hallandale Beach Police initiated an investigation to establish the circumstances under which the minor was left inside the vehicle and to determine if there is any liability in the case.

The incident once again highlights the danger of leaving children inside cars, especially during the hot months, when the temperature inside a vehicle can rise rapidly and reach potentially fatal levels in just a few minutes.
