Santo Domingo.– APEC University (UNAPEC) officially presented the digital platform CONECTA UNAPEC, a technological tool designed to strengthen the relationship between students, alumni, and employers, facilitating recruitment, employment, and internship processes in an integrated digital environment.
The launch took place during the opening of the XVI Conecta T+ Job Placement Conference, organized by the institution’s Deanship of Outreach and Entrepreneurship.
The new platform will allow national and international companies to post vacancies, manage selection processes, and access candidate profiles classified by degree, academic modality, and geographical location.
Likewise, students and alumni will be able to explore job opportunities, apply for job offers, and expand their professional network from a space designed specifically for the university community.
During the presentation, the Director of Alumni Relations and Job Placement, María Isabel Sánchez, explained that the tool is part of the digital transformation process that the university is promoting to strengthen its employability services.

The rector of UNAPEC, Erik Pérez Vega, described the launch as a transcendental step in the modernization of the mechanisms for linking academia and the business sector.
“The platform represents an evolution in the way we connect the talent of our students and graduates with the opportunities demanded by the current labor market,” he/she expressed.
The initiative seeks to respond to the needs of an economic environment in constant transformation, where digital skills and speed in recruitment processes have become determining factors for employability.
Since 2009, UNAPEC has promoted job placement programs that have involved more than 170 companies and thousands of participants, consolidating an institutional strategy aimed at professional development and the strengthening of Dominican human capital.
