Woman asks for help to locate her partner, missing since January

Santo Domingo.– Ingrid Reyes Ramírez came to De Último Minuto to ask for help locating her partner, Kevin Andrew Bruinsma, 56, who has been missing since January.

Reyes Ramírez explained that Bruinsma arrived in the country in January for work reasons and that the last time he spoke with him, he said he was heading towards the National Police headquarters in Boca Chica.

“He was going to stop at the Boca Chica Police, which is the one near the plant, and then he didn’t pick up the phone again nor was anything more known about him,” the woman recounted.

According to the woman, before her partner’s disappearance, she had filed a report after being, according to her testimony, the victim of a robbery and an assault.

The woman stated that she went to the authorities with an arrest warrant against the people who, she claimed, had assaulted her. However, she pointed out that she was subsequently transferred along with her children and that they were separated from her.

Reyes Ramírez explained that, while he was carrying out the procedures to recover his children, he was asked for documents and personal data of Bruinsma. The information was provided and, subsequently, they were reportedly able to contact him.

“He called me scared and told me that there were too many people and that I wasn’t going to get the children back. He called me crying,” she said.

Subsequently, as she recounted, Bruinsma informed her that he would travel to the Dominican Republic in January. After his arrival in the country, both maintained communication until the moment he informed her that he was heading to the Boca Chica Police station.

Since then, Reyes Ramírez claims that he has not had any further communication with him and is unaware of his whereabouts.

Reyes Ramírez, who was in a common-law relationship with Bruinsma, is a mother of four children, two of whom she had with the missing man.

The woman asked the authorities and anyone who has information about Bruinsma’s whereabouts to contact the authorities to help locate him.

“I want it to appear,” he expressed with concern.

The family continues to wait for information regarding Kevin Andrew Bruinsma, while requesting the collaboration of anyone who may know his whereabouts.
