Los Angeles. – A woman was arrested by U.S. authorities after allegedly firing several shots at the residence of Barbadian singer Rihanna in the city of Los Angeles, California.
According to reports from the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), the incident occurred on Sunday afternoon, when the suspect approached the artist’s property and fired about ten shots with an AR-15 type rifle. At least four of the projectiles hit the house and one managed to go through one of its walls.
The authorities confirmed that the interpreter was inside the residence at the time of the attack; however, no injuries were reported after the shooting.
The woman, approximately 30 years old, was arrested shortly after the incident and remains in custody while investigations are ongoing. So far, the police have not revealed her identity or the motives that would have caused the attack.
The case remains under investigation to clarify the circumstances of the event and determine if the suspect had any prior connection with the artist.
