United States.– Nintendo and Illumination presented a new preview of “Super Mario Galaxy: The Movie”, the long-awaited sequel to the successful animated film inspired by the Super Mario Bros. universe, which is scheduled to premiere on April 1, 2026.
The teaser officially revealed the incorporation of Yoshi, one of the most iconic characters of the franchise, who joins Mario and Luigi in a new adventure that promises to take the saga to a cosmic scale. In the trailer, the brothers explore new scenarios until they discover Yoshi, who becomes a key ally in their journey.
The film will not be a direct adaptation of the video game Super Mario Galaxy, but an original story that combines elements from different titles in the saga, exploring new worlds and galaxies, maintaining the spirit of adventure, humor and nostalgia that characterizes the franchise.
