International Desk.- The film ‘Super Mario Galaxy Movie’ surpasses one billion dollars in worldwide box office revenue and becomes the first feature film released in 2026 to reach this figure.
According to data from the website Box Office Mojo, the film has grossed 428.5 million in North America -Canada and the United States- and 571.5 million in the rest of the markets since its release on April 1st.
‘Super Mario Galaxy Movie’ had a budget of 110 million dollars, a relatively low price for an animated film. The previous film in the franchise was a phenomenon and grossed nearly 1.4 billion dollars worldwide.
