The municipal mayor, Leonardo López, stated that in the last 20 years of previous administrations very little was done for the development of the municipality, while in the current administration of President Luis Abinader important works have been executed. Technical details of the work
Among the works carried out include:
• Pavimentación completa con nueva capa asfáltica para garantizar un tránsito seguro y duradero.
• Señalización vertical y horizontal, fortaleciendo la seguridad vial y la fluidez del tránsito.
• Obras de drenaje, aceras y contenes, que permiten una adecuada canalización de aguas pluviales y un mejor desplazamiento peatonal.
• Estabilización de bancos laterales y mejora estructural, para prevenir deterioros futuros y asegurar la sostenibilidad de la vía.
