Azua.– A resident of the El Caliche sector reported that agents of the Criminal Investigations Department (DICRIM) have raided her home on three occasions, which has generated a climate of unease in her home. The operations, according to her, are carried out in search of two alleged criminals.

The complainant stated that, during the most recent raid, the officers unjustifiably detained her two sons, who (as she pointed out) are engaged in fishing. Neighbors from the area came to the defense of the young people, accusing the authorities of acting abusively and alleging that the real perpetrators of the crimes remain at large.

According to those affected, two of the three raids were carried out without the presence of a prosecutor, which they consider a violation of their fundamental rights.
