Dr. Adolfo Suárez maintained that the intake of vitamins, minerals, and proteins supports the body’s biochemical processes
Santo Domingo.- The nutritionist physician Adolfo Suárez explained the physiological and biochemical bases for which, in his opinion, the method developed by Dr. José Ernesto Fadul for the treatment of autism produces positive results.
During an interview on the program Despertar Político, hosted by Rafael Linares Guerrero, Suárez stated that the human organism is composed of proteins formed from amino acids, which perform essential functions in the production of enzymes, hormones, and other processes indispensable for the body’s functioning.
“What he is doing is correct, it has a scientific basis, even if he cannot explain it, he intuitively through his experience has said this works, he is right to provide vitamins and minerals to those children,” expressed Dr. Suárez, who worked for 18 years at the Pennsylvania Department of Mental Health.

The specialist indicated that many brain and behavioral functions depend on protein-based hormones, which is why he considered it fundamental for the body to have the necessary nutrients for these mechanisms to operate correctly.
Likewise, he explained that proteins require the presence of vitamins and minerals to perform their function. As he detailed, these micronutrients act as cofactors and coenzymes that allow enzymes to transform macronutrients—such as amino acids, glucose, and fatty acids—into the energy the body needs to function.
“If vitamins and minerals are missing from individuals’ diets, those enzymes are blocked from performing their catalytic function,” he stated.
In that sense, Suárez supported the nutritional approach promoted by Dr. Fadul and maintained that the supply of vitamins and minerals can contribute to improving certain difficulties that some children with autism present, related to diet, sleep, and certain behaviors.
Dr. Adolfo Suárez maintains an extremely critical stance regarding modern vaccines, especially those developed against COVID-19 and any others sequenced based on RNA. He categorically states that these new vaccines, being designed with non-coding RNA, cause harm to people.
He stated that behind the controversy and apparent persecution against Dr. Fadul, “there is a medical-pharmaceutical cartel” that benefits from having patients on long-term treatments, in a capitalist system where the value of human life has been replaced by profits.
It is important to note that autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental condition for which there is no single treatment that has been proven effective in all cases.
It is recalled that the proposal by Dominican physician José Ernesto Fadul for the treatment of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) reached the United States Department of Health and Human Services this week. During a meeting held in Washington, the United States Ambassador to the Dominican Republic, Leah Campos, delivered the protocol to the U.S. Secretary of Health, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. The meeting was attended by Vice President Raquel Peña and the Minister of Public Health, Víctor Atallah.
In this regard, Kennedy recommended that the proposal be evaluated through scientific studies before drawing conclusions about its efficacy.
