Samaná.- The director of the Educational District 14-04, Licda. Adalberta Luci Calcaño Maldonado, announced that everything is prepared for the start of the 2025–2026 school year, reiterating the call to parents and guardians to ensure the attendance of their children from the first day of classes. “Every day counts. It is essential to start on the right foot and not fall behind,”expressed the official.
As part of the preparations, the director personally supervised the educational centers where preventive and corrective maintenance work was carried out, ensuring optimal conditions to receive the students.
Calcaño Maldonado highlighted the strong support of the Minister of Education, Luis Miguel De Camps, in strengthening quality public education, as well as the joint work with Regional 14, led by María Luisa de la Cruz, in favor of an efficient and committed educational management.
“Education is a commitment from everyone. From the district, the regional office, and the ministry, we are working together to ensure a successful, inclusive, and transformative school year,” she affirmed.
