Santo Domingo.– The Fox Farlen Foundation successfully carried out, last Saturday the 23rd, its traditional “Supplies for All” campaign, through which it delivered school supplies to dozens of children from low-income communities in the Las Cayenas 2da. area, in Punta de Villa Mella.
This initiative, which the foundation develops year after year, seeks to support families that do not have the necessary resources to cover the costs of their children’s basic education. On this occasion, backpacks, notebooks, pencils, erasers, pencil sharpeners and other essential school supplies were delivered, with the purpose that students can successfully start the new school year.
Prior to each delivery, the Fox Farlen Foundation conducts a survey in various neighborhoods in the northern zone of Villa Mella, in order to identify the families with the greatest need. Based on this data, a fundraising campaign is organized in which numerous collaborators and solidarity allies participate.
This year, the “Useful for All” campaign benefited more than 200 children from the communities of Guaricanos, Nueva Isabela II and Punta de Villa Mella.
“Estamos muy agradecidos de Dios y de todas las manos amigas que siempre dicen presente para apoyar esta labor. Cada aporte es una semilla que contribuye a que nuestros niños puedan tener un futuro mejor”,
expresó Juan Miguel Matos, fundador de la Fundación Fox Farlen
