Azua. – The provincial governor of Azua, María Minerva Navarro, conducted a supervision tour of various infrastructure projects currently under construction in different municipalities and municipal districts of the province, with the purpose of verifying their progress and compliance with the established schedules.

During the day, the representative of the Executive Branch inspected the construction work of the Maternal-Child Pediatric Hospital and the roofing of the Román Baldorioty de Castro High School, in the main municipality of Azua. Likewise, she visited the John F. Kennedy School, in the municipal district of Las Charcas, where new classrooms and a roof are being built; the sports roof of the municipality of Estebanía; the high school and the school in the community of Guayacanal, in the municipality of Pueblo Viejo; and the road to Playa Tortuguero, a complementary work to the Azua Bypass project.

María Minerva Navarro highlighted that these infrastructures will contribute to the strengthening of educational, sports, and road connectivity services in the province, while reaffirming the commitment to provide permanent monitoring of the projects to ensure they are completed within the established deadlines and with the required quality levels.

The governor pointed out that the constant monitoring of these works is part of the actions aimed at promoting the development of the province and improving the quality of life of its inhabitants.
