SANTO DOMINGO. – The director of RD Vial, Hostos Rizik Lugo, announced the start of the National Road Lighting Program, an initiative that seeks to reinforce security on the country’s main highways and guarantee safer transit for all citizens.
Rizik Lugo explained that the program’s main objective is to improve nighttime visibility, reduce traffic accidents, and provide greater peace of mind to those traveling on national roads, especially during the season of highest vehicular flow.
