Espaillat brothers have not filed for bankruptcy, defense claims
SANTO DOMINGO.– The defense counsel for the Espaillat siblings, Antonio and Maribel, denied that both have undergone any bankruptcy, restructuring, or liquidation process.
Through a statement, the lawyers described as false the version recently disseminated regarding the situation of the defendants in the Jet Set case.

“It is not true that Antonio and Maribel have filed for bankruptcy, restructuring, or liquidation proceedings. This is a version lacking any basis,” the document states.

The defense of the Espaillat brothers rejected in this way the reports about an alleged procedure of that nature and maintained that they lack foundation.
The lawyers did not offer in the provided statement other details about the origin of the version that prompted the clarification.
