Barahona.– National Police agents arrested Eliceo Cuevas, identified as the alleged person responsible for inflicting a fatal sharp-force injury on his son-in-law, Oliver Moreta, during an incident that occurred recently in this province.
According to preliminary reports, Moreta was seriously injured during the incident and was taken to a health center, where he later died as a result of the injury received.
The authorities have not offered details regarding the circumstances or the motives that may have originated the conflict that ended in tragedy, so investigations are still ongoing.

The detainee remains in police custody and will be placed at the disposal of the Public Prosecutor’s Office for the corresponding legal purposes.
