Man dies after his scooter crashes into an electric pole between San Carlos and Villa Verde

La Romana, R.D.– A man died on Tuesday afternoon after being involved in a traffic accident at the entrance to the Villa Verde Free Zone, near the El Jaguar hotel, after the scooter he was driving hit an electricity pole. The victim was identified as Darío Mejía Pinales, who died as a result of the multiple blows suffered during the impact. The body’s removal was carried out by the coroner Benito Kelly, while members of the National Police and other relevant authorities attended the scene to conduct the corresponding investigations.
