Police capture fugitive and recover stolen motorcycles

The National Police reported the arrest of a man who was in judicial rebellion and the recovery of several motorcycles reported as stolen in different sectors of Greater Santo Domingo, as part of the preventive and investigative actions aimed at reinforcing citizen security. In a coordinated operation between the Preventive Police and investigative agencies, Franklin Hernández Abreu, 46 years old, was arrested in Monte Plata province. He was wanted by a court order for alleged violations of current legal provisions.

Likewise, agents assigned to the Stolen Vehicle Recovery Division managed to locate several Haojue brand motorcycles, Xpress model, stolen in sectors such as Villa Mella, Sabana Perdida, Ensanche La Fe and Simón Bolívar. Motorcycles were located through intelligence work and focused operations carried out in different parts of Greater Santo Domingo. The detainee, along with the recovered vehicles, was placed at the disposal of the Public Prosecutor’s Office for the corresponding legal purposes.
