n” “nDuring his speech at the meeting of the PRM National Commission, held at the Sheraton hotel in Santo Domingo, Ascensión maintained that the organization is going through a moment of high historical responsibility after receiving the majority support of the Dominican people at the polls.
n” “n“The Dominican people not only gave us their vote, they entrusted us with their hopes, their dreams of seeing a fairer country built, and the faith that politics can be clean, honest, and of service,” expressed the political leader.

n” “nAscención asserted that citizen support constitutes a permanent mandate for transparency, efficiency, and social justice, while warning about the political challenges facing the governing organization.
He indicated that the party’s main responsibility is to serve as political support for the government of Luis Abinader, considering that the actions of the current administration represent the materialization of the proposals and principles defended by the PRM.
n” “n“We are and must be the main defenders and spokespersons for the government’s achievements in every corner of the country. Supporting President Abinader is safeguarding the well-being of the Dominican people,” he stated.

Ascención insisted that the PRM’s unity for 2028 must be placed above any personal project, as it will be a decisive factor in maintaining citizen trust and ensuring the continuity of the public policies promoted by the current administration.
