Regional Education Office 15 celebrated the awarding of certificates to Primary Level students of the Youth and Adult Education Subsystem, in an emotional ceremony that recognized the effort, perseverance, and commitment of men and women who have decided to continue their educational process to build a better future.
The activity brought together educational authorities, technicians, principals, teachers, and family members, who accompanied the students in this important academic achievement.
During the event, the regional director of Education 15, Eddy Chávez, congratulated the graduates and highlighted that education constitutes the main tool for social transformation and human development.
“Each certificate we present today represents a story of sacrifice, dedication, and hope. You are an example that it is never too late to learn, grow, and reach new goals. We feel deeply proud of this achievement that we celebrate today together with your families,” expressed Chávez.
For her part, Wiselis Sena, Director of the Primary Level for Adults at the Ministry of Education (MINERD), valued the impact this program has on the lives of the participants and reaffirmed the educational system’s commitment to inclusion and guaranteeing the right to education for all citizens.

Likewise, the regional deputy director, Elvin de León, highlighted the importance of continuing to strengthen educational opportunities for youth and adults, promoting their retention in the classrooms and the successful completion of their studies.

The ceremony was attended by Rafaela Suero, District Director 15-06, national, regional, and district technicians, school principals, teachers, family members, and special guests, who shared in this significant moment of celebration and recognition.
At the conclusion of the event, regional director Eddy Chávez thanked the President of the Republic, Luis Abinader, and the Minister of Education, Luis Miguel De Camps, for the support provided to the Dominican educational system and for promoting policies aimed at expanding learning opportunities and guaranteeing quality education for all.
